Product Officer / Chinese Translator

Role Description
- Product Officer / Chinese Translator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
- This role involves supporting product planning and selection, coordinating with international teams, and translating product information, documentation, and communication between Chinese and English.
- The individual will assist in analyzing product performance, monitoring inventory and pricing, and preparing reports to guide merchandising and purchasing decisions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree / HND.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience.
- Proficient in using Excel, with good data analysis and processing ability.
- Strong communication skills, detailed and responsible.
- Experience in Wholesale/Retail or FMCG Industry is highly preferable
- Bilingual (Chinese and English)
Responsibilities
- Local procurement, coordinate stores' direct product purchase distribution, and development of supplier resources.
- Follow up customs clearance matters, correspond with the foreign operations department of the bank, customs clearance agency etc.
- Coordinate e-commerce projects, operations, replenishment, sales settlement and follow-up.
- Assist the relevant department in external affairs, meetings and public relations.
- Assist the Product Manager to carry out any other product management related tasks.
