Head of Business Development

Our client is building the AI-powered communication infrastructure for modern professionals and businesses. Our client unifies email, messaging platforms, calendars, contacts, and conversations into a single intelligent workspace. The platform uses AI to prioritize what matters, connect context across channels, and draft responses that sound like the user.

Our client integrates with tools such as Gmail, Slack, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other communication platforms to help users focus on high-value interactions instead of managing inbox overload.

Our client is looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and execution-focused Head of Business Development to accelerate growth, establish strategic partnerships, unlock revenue opportunities, and position for our client as the operating system for business communication.

As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for building and executing client's go-to-market and partnership strategy.

You will identify growth opportunities, create strategic alliances, secure enterprise customers, develop channel partnerships, and establish client as a category-defining AI product.

This role requires a builder who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys opening new markets, and can move seamlessly between strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Revenue

  • Develop and execute client's business development strategy.
  • Identify new revenue streams and market expansion opportunities.
  • Build and manage the company's enterprise sales pipeline.
  • Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
  • Develop pricing, packaging, and commercial partnership frameworks.
  • Establish scalable growth initiatives that support long-term expansion.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Build relationships with technology partners, SaaS platforms, and ecosystem players.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and strategic alliances.
  • Identify integration and distribution partnerships.
  • Create co-marketing and co-selling opportunities.
  • Expand Native Talk 's presence within startup, technology, and enterprise ecosystems.

Enterprise & Mid-Market Sales

  • Lead outbound and inbound business development efforts.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers across startups, SMBs, and enterprises.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to close.
  • Develop proposals, commercial terms, and partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with product teams to align customer feedback with roadmap priorities.

Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Define ideal customer profiles and target market segments.
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive pipeline generation.
  • Develop customer acquisition strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
  • Build repeatable business development processes and playbooks.

Investor & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Support fundraising efforts through market insights and commercial traction reporting.
  • Build relationships with venture capital firms, startup communities, and innovation networks.
  • Position our client as a leader in AI-powered business productivity.

What Success Looks Like

Within 12 months, you will:

  • Build a predictable and scalable revenue pipeline.
  • Establish key strategic partnerships.
  • Secure flagship enterprise customers.
  • Develop repeatable sales and partnership processes.
  • Contribute significantly to revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Position our client as a recognized category leader in AI-powered communication management.

Requirements

Experience

  • 7+ years in Business Development, Partnerships, Enterprise Sales, or Growth.
  • Experience working within SaaS, AI, productivity software, collaboration tools, or B2B technology companies.
  • Proven track record of generating and closing significant commercial opportunities.
  • Experience negotiating strategic partnerships and enterprise contracts.
  • Startup and high-growth company experience strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
