Job Summary

• We are currently hiring for the role of Cash Officer at Benin Medical Care.
• As the Cash Officer you are responsible for the effective functioning of cash units in Benin Medical Care and BMC Diagnostics Limited and provides analytical support for the Finance/Accounting Department.

Job Duities

• Confirmation of daily sales receipts (POS, Transfers, Cash) from cashiers
• Physical cash confirmation and deposit at the bank
• Safe keep / custody of proceeds from daily cash sales (weekends, public holidays inclusive)
• Processing of guest refunds (this equally includes depositing of funds generated by refund into in-patient accounts and guests commercial bank accounts)
• Processing of internal guest transactions {transactions requiring back-office authorization)
• Rendition of daily, weekly, monthly reports, receivables (payments and debts status)
• Tracking the status of receivables – HMOs, Corporate guests with the billing office, with the relevant updates forwarded to The Head of Accounts & Finance
• Closely keeping track of kitchen sales and depositing cash generated at the bank, with receipts given to head of kitchen for comparisons.
• Updating monthly income register & filing of receipts generated from sales, for audit or reference purposes.
• And any other job that may be assigned from time to time.
