Job Summary

• The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company.
• The ideal candidate must have solid, proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, and be able to work with minimal supervision to meet set targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and pursue new business opportunities within the security services industry.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and quotations to prospective clients.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
• Meet and exceed set sales and business development targets.
• Represent the company at meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements in line with company policy.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and sales pipelines.
• Collaborate with operations and management to ensure client requirements are met.
• Provide regular reports on business development activities and performance.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' solid experience in business development, sales, or a related role (mandatory).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/business targets.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in Hausa is required, as this role involves regular engagement with clients and stakeholders in Hausa-speaking region.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong networking and relationship-management skills.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
