Job Description
- The Head of Business Relations is responsible for managingthe marketing department and the business strategy functions.
- This leader ensures that all marketing initiatives are rooted in the broader strategic goals of the organization.
- They analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and oversee the execution of brand strategies to drive revenue and market share.
- Promote and market the organization's products and services.
- Develop and manage organizational strategic relationships and partnerships.
- Develop, design & manage organizational conference, training and other consultancy projects.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, timelines & activities
- Meet organisational milestones, projections and targets.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of Business Relations' day-to-day involves managinghigh-stakes business engagement discussions, decision-making, and cross-departmental collaboration:
- Strategic Planning: Developing long-term corporate goals and identifying "where to play" and "how to win" in the competitive landscape.
- Brand Leadership: Defining and protecting the corporate brand identity across all global markets and channels.
- Revenue Growth: Aligning marketing spend with ROI and identifying new revenue streams through product innovation or market expansion.
- Market Intelligence: Leading data-driven research to understand customer behavior, competitor moves, and emerging technologies.
- Corporate Development: Assisting in M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) activities by evaluating the strategic fit and market potential of targets.
- Executive Leadership: Serving as a key member of the C-suite, reporting typically to the CEO, and presenting strategy updates to the Board of Directors.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 7 years work experience.
Salary
N1,800,000 - N3,000,000 annually.
