Job title : Recruitment and Verification Officer

We are seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented  Recruitment & Verification Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, conducting employee background verification, managing client relationships, supporting business development activities, and ensuring timely delivery of HR services.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and shortlist qualified candidates for various roles.
• Post job vacancies across multiple recruitment platforms.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Conduct employment, education, guarantor, address, criminal, and reference verification checks.
• Liaise with candidates, referees, institutions, and clients to obtain required information.
• Prepare and submit verification reports within agreed timelines.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance throughout the verification process.
• Respond promptly to client enquiries regarding recruitment and verification services.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, invoices, and other documentation where required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Monitor turnaround times and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Identify and engage potential clients through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other channels.
• Follow up on leads and maintain the CRM database.
• Support the promotion of the company's HR and background verification services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruitment, HR, or employee background verification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using recruitment platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and pay close attention to detail.
