Internal Control / Audit Manager

About the Company
- Our client runs a large-scale, modern poultry farm with capacity to breed thousands of birds in their farm located at Elele near Portharcourt in Rivers State where they process live chickens.
- Their vision is to rank amongst the leading chicken and egg suppliers and distributors in the whole of South-South and South East in the coming years.
Job Description
- The Internal Control/Audit Manager provides independent risk management, and operational oversight across the entire integrated and operational value chain.
- The position works directly with the CEO and seeks to foster standardization and consistency across the company's business processes and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Deliver timely reporting on the internal audit/control framework and control deficiencies.
- Initiate action plans,monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies.
- Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure resolution of all relevantaudit finding.
- Spot, assess and address risksand translate it into impact analysis.
- Initiate and develop control policies.
Qualities:
- A critical thinker and highly organized.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate with ability to navigate the entire platforms of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding and experience with internal control frameworks.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Sound presentationskills.
Skill Set:
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Attention to details.
- Leadership skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
- B.Sc/HND in Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience in audit/internal control.
- ICAN qualification is an added advantage.
