MALE Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sound financial decision-making.
• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and general accounts.
• Record and process daily financial transactions promptly and accurately.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Generate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Support budget preparation, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
• Assist management by providing accurate financial analysis and reports for decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting experience.
• Minimum of an B.Sc in accountancy, business administration, economics, or any related discipline.
• Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ATS) is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
