Project Manager - Civil Engineer

Job Description
- The Civil Engineer will oversee planning, design review, site supervision, quality control, and project execution for ongoing construction works.
- The role requires strong technical expertise, hands‑on site experience, and strict adherence to engineering regulations as guided by COREN, the statutory body regulating engineering practice in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, method statements, and progress documentation.
- Conduct quality control checks on materials and workmanship.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings for site implementation.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure adherence to Nigerian engineering standards and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- B.Eng./B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (minimum 2:2).
- COREN certification (Registered Engineer) — mandatory.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in building or infrastructure construction.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian construction standards and codes
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with reinforced concrete works, road construction, or drainage systems.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.
