ROLE SUMMARY 

PERCOSO Nigeria is seeking a commercially minded and highly organized Business Development Support Officer to provide day-to-day execution support to the Business Development function. The role will focus on sales analytics, client request management, commercial documentation, proposal/tender support, pipeline management, and reporting. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with numbers, clients, commercial documents, data analytics and AI-powered productivity tools. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly sales reports, pipeline reports and business development dashboards.
• Track prospects, opportunities, quotations, proposals, follow-ups and conversion status.
• Receive, coordinate and follow through on client requests and enquiries.
• Prepare quotations, BOQs, cost summaries, comparative statements and commercial schedules.
• Obtain and consolidate pricing from suppliers, subcontractors and internal technical/operations teams. 
• Support preparation of RFPs, RFQs, tenders, proposals and capability submissions.
• Review commercial documents for accuracy, completeness, formatting and arithmetic errors.
• Conduct prospect/client research and prepare account and opportunity information.
• Maintain accurate business development and client databases. 
• Follow up outstanding quotations, proposals and client requests and provide status updates.
• Support the BDM/ESM with meeting preparation, presentations, correspondence and commercial analysis. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in Business Development, Commercial Support, Engineering, Facility Management, Procurement, or a related technical/B2B environment.
• Proven experience preparing quotations, BOQs, costing or commercial documentation.
• Strong sales/business development reporting and analytics experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)/AI tools for research, analysis, documentation and productivity.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. 
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines independently.
• Strong client coordination and follow-up skills.
