Assistant Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Develop daily and hourly logistics plans based on gas demand forecasts and customer flow rates.
- Coordinate closely with plant operator/ Operations department to align dispatch with production output.
- Ensures contingency plans are in place for route disruptions or emergencies.
- Supervise dispatch schedules and ensure vehicle documentation is complete and valid.
- Oversee real-time tracking of fleet
- movement to ensure route compliance, no over speeding, and timely delivery.
- Supervise the logistics officers to ensure all fleet activities comply with safety regulations usage, and HSE Policies.
- Review and validate logistics reports: daily dispatch logs, fuel usage, delivery confirmations, and maintenance status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 Years plus logistics experience, preferably in the gas or energy sector.
- Solid Knowledge of fleet operations, tracking systems, safety procedures, and Nigerian transportation laws.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics Management Software (e.g., ERP or fleet management tools)
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in a CNG/NGV is highly desirable.
- Ability to flow in Hausa language is an added advantage.
