Job title : Technical Storekeeper

What You’ll Do

Inventory & Store Management

• Plan, monitor, and control engineering spare parts inventory.
• Ensure proper inspection of incoming goods for quality and quantity.
• Maintain an organized store layout in line with good housekeeping standards.
• Ensure all materials are properly labelled and stored in designated locations.
• Implement and maintain an effective bin system in line with company procedures.
• Enforce the FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principle for all material movements.
• Analyse stock discrepancies and recommend improvements.

Quality, Food Safety & Compliance

• Maintain store facilities to prevent contamination risks.
• Report any Food Safety Management System (FSMS) issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Live and promote company values and Code of Business Conduct.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards.
• Participate in safety trainings and meetings.
• Ensure loss prevention and asset protection.

Customer & Stakeholder Support

• Provide accurate information on spare parts availability.
• Support Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams with timely material supply.
• Build strong working relationships with internal users and external suppliers.
• Handle internal customer inquiries professionally.

Supplier & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve supply issues.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Minimum of BSc or HND or its equivalent in Engineering or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse or inventory management preferably in an FMCG environment.
• Prior supervisory experience in a technical store or similar setting.

Core Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
• Proficiency in computer usage and MS Office tools.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or MS-NAV.
• Basic data processing and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
