Medical Officer

Job Summary

• The Medical Officer will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and appropriate referral.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage patients appropriately.
• Request and interpret relevant investigations.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient documentation.
• Refer patients when specialist intervention is required.
• Participate in emergency and clinical care activities.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, laboratory, pharmacy, and other healthcare teams.
• Comply with clinical protocols and hospital policies.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• MBBS from a recognised institution.
• Valid and current medical licence.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary
N350,000 – N450,000 Monthly.
