Infrastructure & Security Specialist

Job Summary
- We are seeking for an Infrastructure & Security Specialist.
- The Infrastructure & Security Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments while maintaining the security, availability, performance and reliability of critical technology platforms.
- The role requires strong hands-on experience across Oracle databases, WebLogic, Apache and Linux, together with a solid understanding of infrastructure security and enterprise application environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise infrastructure and application environments.
- Administer and support Oracle Database environments.
- Perform Oracle database monitoring, administration, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL scripts and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Install, configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
- Manage and support Apache Web Server environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and capacity.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure and application-related incidents.
- Implement infrastructure security controls and hardening measures.
- Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and potential threats.
- Support patching, upgrades and security remediation activities.
- Manage access controls, privileged access and system permissions.
- Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery activities.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, configurations and operational procedures.
- Work closely with application development, database, cybersecurity and support teams.
- Participate in infrastructure deployments, system upgrades and technical projects.
- Provide technical support during system implementation, testing and production support activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure administration, enterprise systems or infrastructure security.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Oracle Database
- SQL / PL/SQL
- Oracle WebLogic
- Apache Web Server
- Linux Administration
- Good understanding of enterprise application infrastructure.
- Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting and performance management.
- Good understanding of infrastructure security, system hardening and access management.
- Knowledge of backup, recovery and disaster recovery practices.
- Experience working with enterprise technology environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Desirable Certifications:
- Oracle Database certification
- Linux certification
- Oracle WebLogic certification
