Credit Officer
SOBIC and Company Microfinance Institution (26 Openings)
Responsibilities
- Customer Registration: Identify, attract, and regiterqualified customers for the institution's loan products.
- Loan Application Processing: Collect, review, and ensure proper documentation of customers' loan applications.
- Credit Assessment: Evaluate customers' financial capacity, business activities, credit history, and ability to repay loans.
- Business and Customer Verification: Conduct physical visits to customers' businesses and residences to verify information provided in loan applications.
- Loan Disbursement Monitoring: Ensure that approved loans are disbursed according to the institution's policies and procedures.
- Loan Repayment and Recovery: Monitor repayment schedules, follow up on overdue loans, and ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of assigned loan portfolioand minimise loan delinquency and portfolio at risk (PAR).
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain good relationships with customers, address complaints, and educate them on loan terms and repayment obligations.
- Compliance with Credit Policies: Ensure that all credit activities comply with the institution's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate customer and loan records and submit regular reports to you supervisor.
Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
