How You'll Make an Impact

• We are looking for a rare, high-performance hybrid: a Background Checks & Verification Specialist who is equal parts investigative operator and strategic growth hunter.
• You won't just be executing background checks behind a desk, nor will you just be pitching them in boardrooms—you will own the entire vertical.
• You will be responsible for expanding our verification client portfolio by pitching high-volume background screening solutions to corporate accounts, while simultaneously overseeing the operational rigor, investigative depth, and field turnaround times of the checks you win.
• If you have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in background checks, know how to close enterprise compliance deals, and possess an uncompromising eye for detail, this end-to-end operational and revenue seat is built for you.

What You'll Do
Strategic Business Development & Revenue Generation (Sales Aspect):

• Vertical Growth & Client Acquisition: Proactively prospect, pitch, and secure new corporate clients for EISS's background check and verification portfolio (Pre-employment vetting, KYC, Education, Address, Criminal, and Credential audits).
• Enterprise Retainer Pitching: Target HR Directors, Chief Risk Officers, and Compliance Leads in high-vetting sectors (Fintech, Banking, FMCG, Logistics, Security) to close high-volume, recurring screening contracts.
• Commercial Proposals: Design, present, and close tailor-made commercial proposals, SLAs, and competitive pricing frameworks for verification accounts.

Operational Execution & Investigation Quality (Ops Aspect):

• End-to-End Vetting Management: Own the operational execution of all incoming background verification requests—overseeing academic credential checks, previous employer references, criminal record audits, and address validations.
• Field & Partner Network Oversight: Coordinate field verification agents and manage institutional relationships (universities, exam bodies, police registries, corporate HRs) to ensure swift turnaround times (TATs).
• Quality Assurance & Verification Reporting: Personally audit complex files, spot inconsistencies or document forgeries, and generate clean, data-backed Verification Reports for enterprise clients.
• Compliance & Data Privacy: Ensure all vetting protocols strictly comply with data privacy laws (such as NDPR) and client-specific confidentiality benchmarks.

What We're Looking For
Professional & Technical Strengths:

• Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) in Criminology, Law, Sociology, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Dual Experience Track: Minimum of 3 years of direct experience combining operational background screening execution with active B2B corporate sales/account acquisition in a risk consulting or verification firm.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of verification networks, institutional registries, background check software, and Nigerian labor/privacy frameworks.
• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated track record of pitching, closing, and managing business development pipelines for corporate verification services.

Leadership & Interpersonal Strengths:

• Investigative Instinct: Natural knack for spotting anomalies, flags, and inconsistencies in data while maintaining an obsessive follow-up rhythm with slow-responding institutions.
• High Professional Integrity: Absolute confidentiality and unyielding ethical standards when handling sensitive perso nal data.

Compensation
N300,000 Gross Monthly + Performance Commissions.
