Field Sales Manager

In partnership with our client, we are seeking a Field Sales Manager to lead sales activity across the North, Middle Belt, and North Central regions. You will be on the ground, engaging customers, building distributor relationships, and turning market opportunities into revenue. - You are energetic and resilient, comfortable spending significant time in the field, travelling across your territory, and showing up consistently regardless of conditions.
Your Responsibilities…
Sales and Revenue Growth
- You will achieve the sales targets set for your designated territory, taking full personal accountability for performance and revenue delivery.
- You will identify potential customers, generate qualified leads, and convert those leads into active sales opportunities with urgency and consistency.
- You will conduct product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate value and drive purchase decisions.
Client and Distributor Relationship Management
- You will establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retailers, and distributors across your territory, building the kind of trust that drives loyalty and repeat business.
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, ensuring they are supported, informed, and engaged at all times.
Market Intelligence and Strategy
- You will stay up to date on beauty trends, new product developments, competitor activities, and market conditions, using that insight to adapt your approach and stay ahead.
- You will collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and product launches that resonate with customers in your territory and drive measurable sales impact.
Performance Monitoring
- You will track and assess your own sales performance metrics regularly, identifying gaps early and taking corrective action to ensure targets are met.
- You will travel across your territory to meet clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events that strengthen your market presence and pipeline.

- Consistent achievement and outperformance of monthly and quarterly sales targets across the designated territory.
- A growing and well-managed customer base, with new leads regularly converted into active accounts and existing relationships deepened over time.
- Strong distributor and retailer partnerships that generate reliable, repeat revenue and support effective product placement across the territory.
- Promotional campaigns and product launches executed effectively on the ground, with measurable impact on sales volume and brand visibility.
- A clear and up-to-date understanding of the competitive landscape, with market insights regularly feeding into strategy and product decisions.
To be considered for this role you should have…
- A minimum of a first degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in field sales, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding territory sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the North, Middle Belt, or North Central commercial market and existing relationships with retailers or distributors in the region.
- Experience in the beauty, FMCG, or consumer goods industry is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Comfort with frequent travel and the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
- A data-driven approach to performance tracking and territory management.
