Job Description
- Our client is hiring for an Analyst focused on Financial Institutions reporting, to be based in Lagos.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge in credit/risk assessment, including strong financial institutions, insurance, and non-bank financial institutions analysis experience.
Role Responsibilities
Analysis:
- Write in-depth, high-quality, and focused research on credit trends, including thought-leading reports on financial institutions, insurance, and non-bank financial institutions.
- Become a recognised authority on your portfolio of rated financial institutions, insurance, and non-bank financial institutions.
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements.
- Good understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standard
Candidate Requirements
- Strong academic background at least equivalent to a BSc in a relevant area and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- ACA / ACCA / CFA / CIMA professional qualification would be highly beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of Nigeria’s financial services sectors, their regulatory environment, and the key issues affecting the various economic sectors/the main players and key industry drivers.
- Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical skills.
- Write timely and effective research on topical issues.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
