Sales Executive

About the Role

• We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Executive to drive sales, build strong customer relationships and manage the store’s online presence, including its social media pages.
• The ideal candidate should have a passion for sales, an interest in fashion and textiles, and the ability to engage customers both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of the store’s fabrics by engaging walk-in customers, responding to enquiries and identifying new sales opportunities.
• Understand customers’ fabric requirements, preferences, budgets and intended use, and recommend suitable options.
• Provide accurate information on fabric types, colors, textures, prices, availability and product care where applicable.
• Manage the store’s online presence, including its social media pages and other approved digital sales platforms.
• Create and publish engaging content showcasing available fabrics, new arrivals, product features, promotions and special offers.
• Respond promptly to online enquiries, direct messages and comments, providing accurate product information and pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, customer orders, payments and follow-ups.
• Monitor fabric availability and communicate low-stock items or popular products to the Store Manager.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc, HND or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Mass Communication or a related field.
• Experience in sales, retail, customer service, digital marketing or a related commercial role.
• Experience managing social media pages, creating content or handling online customer enquiries is an advantage.
• Knowledge of fashion fabrics, textiles or the fashion industry is desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Confidence in selling products and converting enquiries into purchases.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok)
• Basic content creation skills, including taking product photos and videos and preparing engaging captions.
• Attention to detail, integrity and professional conduct.

Benefits

• Salary: N150,000 per month.
