Commerce Alliance Holdings Limited is seeking to engage a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Accountant with a strong background in the capital market and financial services industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury management, and strategic financial planning across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, SEC regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and statutory remittances.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, treasury operations, and investment-related transactions.
- Prepare and submit regulatory returns within stipulated timelines.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and risk management processes.
- Support executive management with financial analysis and decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor members of the finance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years' relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior accounting role.
- Proven experience in the capital market, asset management, stockbroking, investment banking, or related financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience preparing SEC and other regulatory filings.
- Knowledge of investment and portfolio accounting.
- Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field will be an added advantage.
