JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Group Head of Procurement to provide strategic leadership for the procurement function across a diversified Group with operations spanning Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction, FinTech, Hospitality, Real Estate, Security Services, and Maritime. The successful candidate will develop and execute procurement strategies that optimize costs, strengthen supplier performance, ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate supply chain risks, and deliver sustainable value across the Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute the Group's procurement strategy in alignment with business objectives.

- Lead procurement planning, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management across all subsidiaries.

- Establish procurement governance frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures.

- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality, safety, and service standards.

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with local and international suppliers and negotiate high-value contracts.

- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with business unit leaders to align procurement strategies with operational requirements.

- Lead procurement digitization initiatives and leverage ERP and e-procurement technologies to improve efficiency.

- Develop and implement procurement risk management strategies to ensure supply continuity across the Group.

- Prepare procurement reports, spend analyses, and executive dashboards for senior management.

- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing procurement teams across the group.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

- MBA or a related Master's degree is an added advantage.

- Professional certification such as CIPS, MCIPS, CPSM, or an equivalent procurement qualification is highly desirable.

- Minimum of 1520 years progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a large, diversified organization.

- Proven experience managing procurement across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction, Maritime, Hospitality, Real Estate, FinTech, or Security Services.

- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier negotiations, inventory management, procurement best practices, ERP systems, and e-procurement solutions.

- Strong understanding of procurement regulations, corporate governance, and risk management.

- Excellent analytical, financial, negotiation, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to manage large procurement budgets and deliver measurable cost savings.
