Insurance Sales Expert

Fortis Global Insurance Plc (FGI) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Insurance Sales Expert to join our on-site team in Lagos. The Insurance Sales Expert will be responsible for driving new revenue and subsequently Nigerian clients by managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to conversion and onboarding. This role carries clear performance expectations and is ideal for someone who is able to meet set targets and comfortable operating in a startup environment with accountability. This role is crucial for developing and nurturing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring client needs are met with our innovative, technology-driven insurance solutions. You will play a key part in our mission to redefine the insurance landscape in Nigeria by merging cutting-edge technology with exceptional customer care. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients. Identify and pursue potential business opportunities within the insurance sector. Create and implement strategies to effectively fulfill client needs and enhance service delivery. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless client experiences. Analyze market trends to inform sales and marketing strategies. Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, marketing results, and client engagement. Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in relationship management and business development within the insurance sector. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective marketing strategies. Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant marketing tools. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
