Hotel Operations Supervisor

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the hotel and ensure exceptional guest service.
• The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and security teams to maintain high operational standards, guest satisfaction, and efficient hotel performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations across all departments.
• Ensure guests receive excellent service and promptly resolve complaints or concerns.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and maintaining adequate staffing levels.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Monitor inventory levels and report operational needs or shortages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to hotel management.
• Assist in staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Support revenue-generating activities and help achieve hotel occupancy and service targets.
• Handle emergency situations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, OND, or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in hotel operations, hospitality supervision, or a similar role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
