Warehouse Operative / LPG Handling Assistant

About The Role
- TQE is looking for reliable Warehouse Operatives / LPG Handling Assistants to support the safe and efficient physical operation of our LPG distribution Hub.
- You will support the team with loading, unloading, moving, sorting and organizing LPG cylinders.
What You Will Do
- Load and unload LPG cylinders from vehicles.
- Move cylinders safely within the Hub.
- Sort cylinders according to their operational status.
- Separate empty, filled, damaged and rejected cylinders.
- Assist with cylinder inspection.
- Prepare cylinders for dispatch.
- Assist with loading MDC deliveries.
- Assist with receiving returned cylinders.
- Support physical stock counts.
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
- Follow instructions from the Hub Supervisor and Storekeeper.
- Use required PPE.
- Follow all TQE safety procedures.
- Report damaged cylinders, leaks, unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
What Success Looks Like
- Cylinders are handled safely.
- Loading and unloading is completed efficiently.
- Cylinders are correctly sorted and organized.
- The Hub remains clean and orderly.
- Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Stock-count activities are supported accurately.
- The team can rely on you to complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Basic education.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, loading/unloading or manual operations experience is an advantage.
- Physically capable of manual handling activities.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Safety-conscious.
- Willing to learn.
