LPG Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor

About the Role

• TerraQuest Energy Limited (TQE) is looking for an experienced LPG Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our LPG distribution hub.
• The Hub receives empty LPG cylinders from Micro Distribution Centers (MDCs), coordinates their movement for refilling, receives filled cylinders back into the Hub, and ensures they are dispatched to MDCs on time.
• This is a hands-on operational leadership role. You will be accountable for cylinder inventory, physical hub operations, logistics coordination, operating expenses and the overall reliability of the Hub.

Responsibilities
What you'll own:

• Manage the daily operation of the LPG Hub.
• Receive, count, inspect, sort and store LPG cylinders.
• Coordinate movement of empty cylinders for refilling.
• Receive and reconcile filled cylinders returning from the filling facility.
• Ensure filled cylinders are dispatched to MDCs according to schedule.
• Maintain sufficient cylinder availability at MDCs and prevent avoidable stock-outs.
• Maintain accurate physical inventory of all cylinders under Hub custody.
• Reconcile physical inventory against records and investigate discrepancies.
• Track every cylinder entering and leaving the Hub.
• Coordinate the Driver, Storekeeper/Inventory Assistant and Warehouse Operatives.
• Monitor Hub operating expenses and maintain accurate expense records.
• Support Hub-level P&L and cost control.
• Ensure safe LPG handling, storage and transportation practices.
• Report losses, damage, incidents, delays and operational issues promptly.

What Success Looks Like

• Every cylinder is accounted for.
• Physical inventory matches recorded inventory.
• Empty and filled cylinders move through the Hub efficiently.
• MDCs receive the cylinders they need, when they need them.
• There are no unexplained cylinder losses.
• Hub expenses are controlled and properly documented.
• The Hub operates safely, cleanly and reliably.
• Operational reports are accurate and timely.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution or operations.
• Experience supervising warehouse or distribution activities.
• Experience with physical inventory and stock reconciliation.
• Experience coordinating drivers and operational personnel.
• Experience in LPG, oil & gas, fuel, FMCG distribution or a similar environment is an advantage.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer and inventory-management skills.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and solve operational problems.
