Area Sales Manager

Job Summary
- We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations in the South-South & North-West region.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key distributor relationships, and leading a high-performing team to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet regional targets.
- Manage, mentor, and monitor sales representatives within the assigned territory.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitor activity.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
- Drive brand visibility and consumer engagement in line with the company’s marketing goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in FMCG, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the South-South / North-West market terrain.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region.
