Job Location : Lagos Deadline : August 22, 2026 Quick Recommended Links- Halifield Schools is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the school's facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of school buildings, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise artisans, contractors, and service providers.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor utility usage and facility-related expenses.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset inventory.
- Ensure the school environment is clean, safe, and conducive for learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering, Facilities Management, Estate Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 35 years relevant experience in facility management.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems and preventive maintenance.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in a school environment is an added advantage.
