Account Management Officer

Description
- A leading equipment rental company is seeking a highly competent and strategic Account Management Officer to oversee key client relationships in the rental sector.
- You will be responsible for driving client retention, ensuring excellent service delivery, and growing revenue across our equipment rental portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management & Retention: Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, building strong, long-lasting relationships and ensuring high retention rates.
- Commercial Support & Negotiations: Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate commercial opportunities, support contract negotiations, and structure profitable client agreements.
- Financial Oversight & Reporting: Track account revenue, monitor billing and collections, manage account forecasts, and ensure accurate financial reporting for assigned client portfolios.
- Cross-Functional Alignment:Partner with operations, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery and prompt resolution of client issues.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and guide the internal account management team to build a high-performance, customer-centric department.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or ICAN qualification is an added advantage but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager, or senior commercial role.
- Experience in equipment rental, logistics, construction, or engineering is a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of account profitability, contract management, revenue forecasting, and client risk management.
- Systems Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial/commercial modeling, Pivot Tables) and proficiency in CRM and ERP software.
- Core Competencies: High integrity, exceptional analytical ability, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
