Business Manager

Purpose of Job
- Drive regional business growth and revenue by leading and managing a team of sales professionals, executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and partners to achieve business objectives and expand market share.
Principal Accountabilities
- Management of Distributors through the development of Joint business plan with the distributors
- Strategic Sales Management; supervise existing sales partners performance & provide support where necessary, guide TMs & VSRs to develop & expand customer base, collate & analyze reports.
- Stock Management; ensure adherence with stock policy in all areas, manages stock & its distribution in all areas and associated depots.
- Cost Management; prepare budget, forecasting expenditure, annualize variances and initiate corrective actions.
- Coaching & Mentoring; hold meeting with TMs & VSRs regularly to review performance, accompany TMs & VSRs to trade to review, train and advise on managerial abilities, ensure all sales team members carry out respective responsibilities, make unscheduled visits to area offices to spot check processes.
Framework and Boundaries
- This role reports to the Head of Sales and interfaces with Logistics, Finance and Supply Chain.
Job Requirements
- Minimum requirement: First Degree / HND from a recognised institution with a graden ot less than a Second Class Lower or Lower Credit in Economics, BusinessAdministration or any numerate course.
- Added advantage: MBA.
- Minimum requirement: 5 years of cognate experience.
- Added Advantage: Professional Membership & Certifications.
