Social Media & Content Manager (Remote)

About the Role
- Avocado Virtual Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Social Media & Content Manager.
- We are seeking a creative, proactive, and results-driven professional who can take ownership of the company’s social media and content function, driving brand visibility, audience engagement, and digital growth through strategic content planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media and content strategies aligned with business goals, campaigns, and programs.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Design graphics, promotional flyers, carousels, short-form videos, and other digital content assets.
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, mentions, and audience interactions.
- Develop and maintain monthly content calendars and ensure timely content delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, particularly within the book, literacy, parenting, and education sectors, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Support campaigns, promotions, events, and product launches through effective content creation and execution.
- Track social media performance, prepare analytics reports, and recommend improvements based on insights.
- Maintain brand consistency across all content and digital platforms.
- Proactively suggest new content ideas, engagement initiatives, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Strong content writing, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
- Experience creating graphics, videos, reels, and other social media content.
- Proficiency in content creation and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, creativity, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work.
