Tracking & Recovering Officer

Job Summary
- Monitor loan repayments, track overdue accounts, locate delinquent borrowers, and execute recovery strategies through calls and field visits to minimize defaults and meet targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Track repayment schedules to identify overdue and delinquent accounts.
- Contact borrowers via calls, SMS, emails, and field visits to secure repayments.
- Negotiate realistic repayment plans and follow up on payment commitments.
- Maintain accurate recovery records and an updated database of overdue accounts.
- Identify potential fraud and escalate high-risk cases to risk or legal teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on recovery and delinquency trends.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc. or HND in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience: 1–3 years in debt recovery, collections, or loan monitoring within Fintech or Banking.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and loan management systems.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical reporting, and ability to handle difficult conversations.
- Attributes: Willingness to conduct field visits across Lagos and work with minimal supervision.
Salary
N320,000 / month.
