Production Manager

Our client is a fast-growing digital film production powerhouse in Lagos, Nigeria, specializing in high-volume short-form content. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Manager to anchor our end-to-end filming operations. The ideal candidate will take absolute ownership of scheduling, budgeting, and set logistics to ensure we hit our monthly target of 32 content pieces. This role is crucial to maintaining operational discipline, maximizing resource efficiency, and seamlessly bridging pre-production with on-set execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, assess, and approve incoming scripts in close alignment with the writing team.
• Build and enforce tight production schedules, balancing heavy shoot weeks with administrative cycles.
• Assemble, coordinate, and manage the technical crew, cast, and domestic staff for all projects.
• Take full ownership of location scouting, permits, and comprehensive logistics management.
• Manage, track, and optimize the production budget to minimize waste and ensure financial compliance.
• Coordinate with team leads and oversee the daily on-set workflow during intense filming blocks.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in film production management or a similar coordination role.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage high-volume outputs.
• Strong background in logistics management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to manage diverse crew dynamics.
• Ability to work independently, handle high-pressure timelines, and problem-solve on the fly.
• Deep familiarity with the digital video production landscape in Lagos.
