Minimum Requirements

• Possession of a relevant Bachelor's Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in the relevant laboratory discipline.
• Appropriate professional registration/license where applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrated ability to operate laboratory equipment.
• Ability to prepare laboratories, reagents, specimens and materials for practical classes.
• Ability to assist academic staff and researchers.
• Good knowledge of laboratory safety and record keeping.

Other Requirements:

• Provide verifiable academic and professional credentials.
• Demonstrate competence in laboratory safety and equipment handling
• Be medically fit and capable of performing laboratory duties.
• Demonstrate good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Be willing to perform other duties assigned by the appropriate University authority
• Candidates with experience in universities, teaching hospitals, research institutes, medical laboratories and other recognized laboratory facilities will have an added advantage.
