Human Resource Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee integration.
• Develop strategies for employee retention, engagement, motivation, and career development.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts professionally.
• Establish and monitor performance management systems, KPIs, appraisals, and staff development plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Work closely with management and departmental heads on workforce planning and organisational development.
• Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant staff training programs.
• Monitor attendance, leave, punctuality, staff welfare, and other employee-related matters.
• Provide management with HR reports, workforce insights, and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Promote a positive, professional, accountable, and high-performance workplace culture.
• Stay updated on HR best practices, employment regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in Human Resources management.
• Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Engineering, Property Management, or a related industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR practices, and employee relations.
• Proven experience managing recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems/tools is an advantage.
