About the Role
- The IT Assistant will play a dual role in supporting both the organization’s digital marketing initiatives and its day-to-day technology operations.
- The role involves creating and managing engaging content for social media platforms, designing promotional materials, maintaining content calendars, and utilizing AI-powered tools to develop marketing copy, campaign ideas, blog articles, and SEO-focused content.
- The IT Assistant will also ensure consistent branding across digital channels while monitoring audience engagement and supporting the company’s online presence through effective website management and optimization.
- In addition, the IT Assistant will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices, while providing technical support to staff and ensuring the smooth operation of all technology resources.
- The role includes managing WordPress websites, optimizing website performance, handling routine system maintenance and backups, and supporting digital and IT projects across The Chelis Group and its sister companies.
- The ideal candidate is a proactive, tech-savvy professional capable of balancing creative digital tasks with practical IT support responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Develop, update, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms.
- Design graphics, flyers, promotional materials, and digital campaigns.
- Utilize AI tools for content creation, marketing, and workflow optimization.
- Manage social media accounts and content calendars.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and user experience.
- Support digital and IT projects across the organization.
