Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions and dispense medications accurately and safely.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, dosage, side effects, and precautions.
• Conduct approved point-of-care services such as BP, blood glucose, and malaria screening.
• Support family planning, wellness, and reproductive health services within professional scope.
• Manage medication inventory, expiry monitoring, storage, and controlled medicines documentation.
• Drive pharmacy sales, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Maintain accurate patient, sales, and operational records.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Must be a registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Valid and current professional registration/licence.
• Previous experience in a community or retail pharmacy is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of prescription review, dispensing, and patient counseling.
• Good understanding of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
• Must reside close to the assigned location — Surulere, Mushin, Yaba, or Ebute-Metta.
