- We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land measurements, preparing survey reports, and providing accurate data to support construction and development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct land and site surveys using modern surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, Levels, etc.)
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey data, maps, and reports
- Establish reference points and benchmarks for construction projects
- Interpret construction drawings and provide technical input
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers
- Monitor and verify construction progress against survey data
- Maintain proper documentation of all survey activities
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Surveying & Geoinformatics or related field with 5 - 10 years relevant experience in construction or real estate.
- Proficiency in surveying software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS tools, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of land laws and surveying standards.
- Ability to operate modern surveying instruments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Professional certification or registration with relevant bodies is an added advantage.
