Description
- We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Midwife to join our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to pregnant women and new mothers.
- Monitor mothers and babies throughout labour and delivery and identify any signs of complications promptly.
- Assist with normal deliveries and provide appropriate care before, during, and after childbirth.
- Conduct routine antenatal assessments and monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing.
- Provide immediate newborn care, including assessment, monitoring, and support with breastfeeding.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for responses or adverse effects.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Registered Midwife (RM) with a recognized nursing/midwifery qualification.
- Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant regulatory body.
- Previous experience working in a hospital, maternity centre, or healthcare facility is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of antenatal, labour, delivery, postnatal, and newborn care.
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
