Equipment & Maintenance Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Equipment & Maintenance Officer to ensure all company machinery, vehicles, production equipment, and plant facilities are properly inspected, maintained, and repaired to support efficient operations.
• The ideal candidate will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose equipment faults, maintain maintenance records, and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair production equipment, machinery, vehicles, and plant facilities.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance in line with the company's maintenance plan.
• Diagnose equipment faults and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections of batching plants, concrete pumps, generators, mixers, compressors, and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and service reports.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with relevant departments.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and request replacements when necessary.
• Supervise external technicians and contractors during repairs and servicing.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, manufacturing, construction, or heavy machinery operations.
• Experience maintaining batching plants, concrete pumps, generators, or heavy-duty equipment is an added advantage.

Salary
N150,000 per month.
