Description
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head of Quality Control & Laboratory to oversee laboratory and field testing activities, ensuring all concrete and construction materials meet company quality standards.
- The successful candidate will supervise quality assurance processes, maintain testing equipment, monitor compliance with quality procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and supervise concrete slump tests and other laboratory tests.
- Prepare, cure, and test concrete cube samples.
- Carry out aggregate sieve analysis and moisture content tests.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, quality logs, and test reports.
- Monitor laboratory equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Report quality concerns, failed tests, and material non-conformities.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and HSE standards.
- Support investigations into quality issues and corrective actions.
- Monitor laboratory consumables and equipment requirements.
Requirements
- ND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in concrete quality control, laboratory testing, or construction materials testing.
- Experience in a ready-mix concrete or construction materials laboratory is an added advantage.
Salary
N250,000 per month.
