Business Development Executive

Job Summary
- The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, securing contracts, and growing the company’s client base across construction, marine, and oil & gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders
- Prepare proposals, tenders, and bids for projects
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Support contract negotiation and closing deals
- Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields
- 3–6 years’ experience in business development (preferably in oil & gas or construction)
- Experience in tendering and contract acquisition
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the local Port Harcourt market
