Architect Location: Lagos (Island) Employment Type: Full-time Beautiful Ideas Group (BI Group) is a multidisciplinary creative and built-environment organization with business units spanning interior design, event rentals, and academy. We are looking for a talented, creative, and detail-oriented Architect with a strong understanding of interior design to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative architectural and interior design solutions, managing projects from concept to execution, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional spaces. Key Responsibilities Develop architectural concepts, design proposals, and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects. Produce architectural and interior design layouts, space planning, mood boards, material specifications, and presentation documents. Prepare construction drawings, working drawings, and technical documentation. Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and translate their vision into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and project teams throughout the design and construction process. Conduct site visits, monitor project progress, and ensure design intent is maintained during execution. Prepare project schedules, design reports, specifications, and other project documentation. Source and recommend finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and materials suitable for each project. Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. Support project management by monitoring timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Work closely with the interior design, operations, procurement, and project execution teams across the Group. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Professional registration or certification is an added advantage. At least 2 years of relevant architectural experience. Strong understanding of interior architecture, interior design, and space planning. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, 3dmax, or other relevant design software is an advantage. Strong knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and material specifications. Ability to prepare detailed construction and working drawings. Excellent design presentation and visualization skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or high-end interior projects is an advantage.
