Delivery Assistant

Job Summary
- A Delivery Assistant supports the delivery operations team by assisting drivers and riders in loading, unloading, sorting, scanning, and delivering parcels safely and efficiently.
- The role helps ensure timely delivery and excellent customer service.

- Damaged parcels reported

- POD records completed correctly

- Supervisor assessment
- Target: Less than 1% parcel handling errors.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO.
Job Experience:
- 0–2 years experience in logistics, courier services, warehouse operations, or delivery support.
- Experience in parcel handling and customer interaction is an advantage.
- Assist with loading and unloading parcels.
- Sort and arrange packages according to delivery routes.
- Support drivers during deliveries and pickups.
- Verify parcel information before dispatch.
- Obtain proof of delivery from customers.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly labeled parcels.
- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move parcels safely.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of local routes and locations is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
