Production & Machinery Manager

Mandate :
Technical production execution, machinery readiness & equipment lifecycle coordination
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise machine setup and operations, enforce usage discipline, and oversee operator activities and on-ground production execution
- Ensure equipment reliability through downtime prevention and routine maintenance management
- Maintain production stability, processing execution efficiency, and output discipline
- Track raw materials usage, packaging inputs, and production consumables
- Identify shortages, variances, and replenishment requirements
- Detect and escalate technical or operational bottlenecks affecting production continuity
- Monitor equipment utilisation patterns and capacity constraints
- Direct and oversee in-house assistants and engage ad-hoc processing personnel as required to meet production and food processing demands
- Define machinery, equipment upgrade, or expansion requirements based on:
- Production constraints
- Processing capacity gaps
- New SKUs
- Facility user demand
- Drive evaluation, acquisition coordination, and integration of new production equipment
- Coordination with Product & Processing Manager for full alignment
