Job Description / Responsibility

• The Provost is the Chief Academic, Administrative and Accounting Officer of the College and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Institution. Successful candidate will provide strategic leadership towards achieving the vision and mission of the College.

Requirements

• Must have a first Degree from a duly accredited Institution plus a Master's Degree and Doctorate Degree in any of the following discipline: Community Health, Pharmacy, Radiography, Dental Sciences, Health Information Management, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Environmental Health Sciences and Nutrition & Dietetics;
• Must be a Lecturer with not less than eighteen years' cognate experience (five years' experience as Chief Lecturer);
• Must be an indigene of Katsina State not exceeding 55 years of age
• Must be duty registered with relevant regulatory body.

Tenure and Conditions of Service

• The appointment shall be for a period of four years' renewable for second term of another four years based on satisfactory performance.
• The remuneration and conditions of service are as applicable to the position of Provost in similar Institutions in the State.
