Position Overview
- We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Audit Trainee to join our dynamic audit team.
- This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their career in auditing and accounting.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for the accounting profession and a willingness to learn in a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of audit assignments, gathering and evaluating financial information.
- Support the audit team in preparing reports and presentations.
- Learn and apply auditing standards and procedures.
- Participate in identifying areas for improvement in clients’ financial reporting processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful audit completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Little to no experience in audit; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Passion for the accounting practice and willingness to learn.
- Registration with ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
