Regional Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and experienced Regional Manager to oversee business operations, performance, and growth across an assigned region.
• The Regional Manager will be responsible for translating organizational objectives into regional strategies, managing teams, driving revenue and business development, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring operational standards are consistently achieved across the region.
• The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, business development, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and locations effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Operations Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization across the assigned region.
• Ensure regional activities align with company policies, objectives, and standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor performance across branches, offices, teams, or business units within the region.
• Identify operational challenges and implement appropriate solutions.

Business Development & Revenue Growth:

• Develop and execute regional business development strategies.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets, partnerships, and potential clients.
• Drive revenue growth and achievement of regional business targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Support the development and implementation of regional sales initiatives.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

• Lead, motivate, and develop regional teams.
• Set clear performance expectations and objectives for team members.
• Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify training and development needs within the region.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and professional development.

Strategic Planning:

• Translate organizational goals into actionable regional plans.
• Develop regional budgets, forecasts, and performance targets.
• Analyze regional market conditions and recommend business strategies.
• Identify opportunities for expansion and business growth.
• Provide management with insights and recommendations based on regional performance.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Maintain relationships with major clients and strategic partners.
• Act as a senior point of contact for important regional accounts.
• Address escalated client concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Represent the organization at relevant meetings, events, and business engagements.
• Develop partnerships that support regional growth.

Financial & Resource Management:

• Monitor regional budgets and operational expenses.
• Ensure resources are allocated effectively.
• Track revenue, expenditure, and other financial performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce unnecessary costs.
• Ensure regional activities remain within approved budgets.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

• Prepare regular regional performance reports for senior management.
• Monitor key performance indicators and business targets.
• Analyze sales, revenue, operational, and customer performance data.
• Provide updates on regional achievements, challenges, risks, and opportunities.
• Recommend corrective actions where performance falls below expectations.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Identify and manage operational and business risks within the region.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting processes are maintained.
• Escalate significant compliance or operational issues to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5 - 7 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 - 3 years in a management or leadership position.
• Proven experience managing teams, branches, territories, or multiple business units.
• Strong business development and commercial awareness.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed business targets.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong financial and budget management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region when required.

Salary
N450,000 - N800,000 monthly.
