Role Description

• The Business Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ikeja.
• This role oversees the daily operational activities of the hospital, ensuring that clinical and administrative processes run efficiently and align with organizational goals.
• Responsibilities include managing business operations workflows, coordinating with clinical and non-clinical teams, monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing resource utilization across departments.
• The Business Operations Manager will support budgeting and financial planning, contribute to program development and implementation, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory standards.
• The role also involves identifying process improvements, managing operational risks, preparing management reports, and supporting strategic initiatives to enhance patient experience and overall hospital performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in business operations and operations management for healthcare or similar service-oriented environments.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to assess performance, drive decisions, and improve processes.
• Proficiency in program management, including planning, executing, and monitoring operational projects and initiatives.
• Solid understanding of finance, budgeting, and cost control within a business or hospital setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and change management.
• Comfort with using hospital information systems, productivity tools, and reporting software; familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards is beneficial.
