Job title : Head, Transport and Distribution

- Plan, coordinate and supervise all distribution and transportation activities across the Company's operations.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Manage fleet utilization, vehicle maintenance, routing, and transportation efficiency
- Monitor transportation costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, statutory regulations, and company procedures.
- Supervise distribution personnel and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Procurement, and Maintenance to ensure uninterrupted product availability and delivery.
- Prepare and submit periodic logistics and distribution performance reports to management.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Sc./HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related discipline.
- A professional certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (CILT, CIPSMN, etc.) will be an added advantage
- 810 years of relevant experience in logistics, fleet management, distribution, or supply chain operations, with at least 35 years in a managerial within a manufacturing, industrial gases, FMCG, oil & gas, or related industry
