SALES OFFICER – HEAD OFFICE

Reliable Steel and Plastic Industries Limited is seeking an energetic, results-driven and experienced Sales Officer to support our sales operations from the Head Office. A major requirement for this position is the ability to speak, read, understand and communicate fluently in Hausa, as the successful candidate will be required to communicate regularly with customers and business contacts, particularly within Hausa-speaking markets. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and other business partners.
• Communicate regularly with customers to receive enquiries, provide information and follow up on sales activities.
• Support the development and expansion of sales within assigned markets.
• Follow up on customer orders, payments and other sales-related matters.
• Identify new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and market feedback.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance and customer activities.
• Work with relevant departments to ensure efficient order processing and customer service.
• Gather market intelligence, customer feedback and information about competitors.
• Represent the company professionally and contribute towards achieving sales targets.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in Sales, Business Development or Customer Relationship Management.
• Must be fluent in Hausa and able to communicate effectively with Hausa-speaking customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion and follow-up skills.
• Experience in the sale of plastic, household, consumer or FMCG products will be an added advantage.
• Must be proactive, target-driven and commercially aware.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and sales reporting will be an advantage.
